Fever Tame Raptors
EVERETT – The Tri-Cities Fever can now start focusing on the showdown with the defending Indoor Football League champions, Sioux Falls Storm. The Fever remain unbeaten on the season with a 70-61 win Friday night over the Everett Raptors at the Comcast Arena, just one week before the showdown between the two teams that played for the IFL championship last season in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Defense leads Fever past Stars
Jake Killeen didn’t quite know how to react when defensive coordinator Ryan Lingenfelder challenged the defense to get eight sacks Friday night. After the Fever’s 37-20 win over the New Mexico Stars, Lingenfelder’s high expectations didn’t seem to be so outrageous. The Fever defense combined five sacks, seven tackles-for-loss, and two interceptions in what Killeen called the best defensive effort of the season. “We kind of thought he (Lingenfelder) was crazy,” Killeen said. “But the defense had a great night; best of the season.” The Fever allowed just two touchdowns, and held the Stars (2-5) to just three second-half points. … Keep Reading

Fever Win Battle Against Cavalry
The Tri-Cities Fever continued to show why it is one of the best in the Indoor Football League this season. Tri-Cities scored in a variety of different ways and overcame some mistakes on its way to a 62-41 win over the Wyoming Cavalry on Friday night at the Toyota Center. Fever Stays Perfect
Nearly 4,000 fans showed up Saturday night expecting another hard-fought, down-to-the wire game between the Tri-Cities Fever and the Colorado Ice. No one was left disappointed. As expected, the game came down to some key plays in the closing minutes before the Fever pulled out a key 64-50 win Saturday night at Toyota Center. Fever Escapes Danger
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. –The first time something happens it can be a point of conversation. The second it happens, one can say it is developing into a trend.
