Fever falls to Danger
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – The Tri-Cities Fever came up just shortSaturday night against the Indoor Football League’s top-ranked to close out the 2013 season. The Fever could not convert on fourth down in the closing seconds falling 69-64 to the Nebraska Danger. With the loss the Fever finishes the season 6-8. Fever travel into Danger
The Tri-Cities Fever is the hottest team in the Indoor Football League. The Fever has won five of its last six games and enter is regular season finale with plenty to play for. Defensive Player of the Week: Rudell Crim (DB, Tri-Cities Fever)
Rudell Crim (5’10, 180, Arkansas) becomes the second member of the Fever defensive secondary to earn Defensive Player of the Week honors (Lionell Singleton Week 15). In a 33-6 victory over the Wyoming Cavalry, the Fever defense dominated the flow of the game. Tri-Cities kept Wyoming scoreless for most of the contest with the Cavalry’s lone touchdown coming late in the 4th quarter. For the game, Crim registered 5 tackles and 3 interceptions. Defense leads Fever past Cavalry
The Tri-Cities Fever wanted to leave a lasting impression for the fans at the Toyota Center on Saturday night. While the 2013 season will not included a defense of the Intense Conference championship, recording a near shutout during the final home game was a nice sendoff heading toward 2014. Fever hosts Cavalry in final home game
The Tri-Cities Fever returns home for its final home game of the 2013 season Saturday night to play host to the Wyoming Cavalry. Kickoff is7:05 at the Toyota Center. Usually at this point in the season, the Fever is jockeying for playoff positioning in the Intense Conference. However, after a slow start to the season, Tri-Cities will miss out on the playoffs for the first time since 2009. Don’t tell the Tri-Cities Fever it doesn’t have much to play for in their final three weeks of the season. Tri-Cities, which was eliminated from playoff contentionFriday night with a Nebraska win over Wyoming, looked anything but a team that eliminated from the playoffs. Salute To America Night
All acitive and retired military can receive a free ticket to the game by showing their military ID at the Toyota Center box office. The first 275 adults receive free t-shirts, thanks to Uni-First. Fever can’t hold on
Fort Collins, Colo. – The Tri-Cities Fever could not hold a fourth-quarter lead as it fell to the top-ranked Colorado Ice 39-35 on Saturday night at the Budweiser Events Center. The Fever carried a 32-19 lead into the fourth quarter, but some costly penalties and key fourth-down conversions by the Ice helped fuel the comeback. Fever looks for fourth straight win
The Tri-Cities Fever takes is three-game winning streak and its playoff fate on the road Saturday night to take on the Colorado Ice. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. local time. A month ago, this game looked rather meaningless on the schedule. The Ice was rolling atop the Intense Conference, while the Fever were fighting to stay out of last place. Fever wins third straight
Casper, Wyo. – The Tri-Cities Fever extended its winning streak to three games Saturday night with a 33-16 win over the Wyoming Cavalry at the Casper Events Center. With the win (4-6), the Fever improves to 3-0 in the second half of the season and stays in the playoff hunt, chasing Colorado and Nebraska with four games left in the regular season.
